This is a part of the book that I love, giving to others the impression of increase and seeing them feel that energy coming from me.

Lately I've been making sure that when I go out somewhere, I always high my head up high and smile and say hi to everyone who looks at me. I remember from my days working in customer service how much it could brighten my day having a perfect stranger give me a big smile and say hello to me, it energises you.

Yesterday while waiting at the traffic lights I turned and smiled at a little old man with a walking stick standing beside me and we started talking while waiting for the lights to change. He asked me to help him across the road as he's a little slow and gets a bit frightened by the busy traffic. I was only too glad to oblige and since we were going the same way ended up going a lot further and across a couple of streets with him hanging onto my arm. When we parted ways after introducing ourselves he had such a look of happiness on his face that wasn't there when we first met at the traffic lights! He thanked me for helping him cross the road and I thanked him for asking me! Harold and I are going to keep an eye out for each other now when we're in the same area and hopefully we'll meet again some day.

Its great how one little thing can brighten two peoples days!

I've been selling stuff via online auctions. (This was something that the Practical Geniuses course inspired, I'll let you all guess which lesson!) I have a box of fantastic books that I call the "penny books box" because the large volume houses list them for a penny. Instead of bemoaning an inability to compete with the volume houses, I send these books as random free bonuses to customers who have bought something similar.

It makes me feel great to give these books away to someone who might enjoy them and I've gotten great feedback!

It is too funny that you brought this up Shannon. I had a similar experience at a supermarket recently.

I was shopping on Saturday morning and an elderly gentleman saw something in my carriage that was similar to what he needed. He asked what aisle it could be found in. Instead of just pointing or directing, I walked over with him to where the product was located. He was extremely appreciative and couldn't thank me enough. That frame of mind is a wonderful thing to have because it resonates with everyone. Talk about a great way to start your day!

I am very new to the book read it 3 days ago and on my second read.

Today I went around at home thinking about increase. I kept telling myself my joy, health, gratitude, money has increased, then I went out and kept doing the same thing. It was amazing the lightness this bought me. The feeling of joy and expansion was wonderful I couldn't help grinning or smiling as I went about things.

I have done positive affirmations during the day before like "I am happy" or grateful etc. What I found astounding was the difference of thinking that my happiness has expanded, my money has expanded, my gratitude has expanded and in the thinking it was getting bigger the happier I got. As opposed to just being happy or grateful. Truly life changing.

Then I wondered if there was a forum notice on increase that I could share on, and my joy and gratitude increased some more as there it was 3rd from the top. Amazing.

I have had that happen as well, had something happen and think that that would be a great topic to bring up only to get on here and find someone allready has!

Last night I got home and walked into my office to see a new computer screen staring back at me! Turned out our generous neighbour saw the old fuzzy one we had and gave us an old one he had sitting around his house! Being short sighted I found the old monitor very frustrating and difficult and was something I was planning on upgrading someime soon. It wasn't even something that I thought about very much! This one is so bright and clear and I can read it sitting right back in the chair!

My partner Steve isn't a fellow SOGR'er, he isn't opposed to it, just hasn't got his head around the concepts yet. I'm fine with that, but today as I was telling him about a beautiful property I saw for sale for 135 acres with a house for just over $2 million, he completely shocked me when he calmly thought about it and replied "gee thats actually pretty cheap isn't it?" This from a guy who a week earlier, felt he was signing onto a huge debt when we signed onto a purchase plan to buy our new piano for just under $2000.00!!

I think the impression of increase is spreading quicker than I thought!

My aim working with increase is to get a CMI and losing the "how can I afford that" or "I don't have the money for that". I have big dreams and had them for a long time. I can see taste and touch one of them the others I am still working on.

A few years ago I had a quite reasonable amount of money to begin this dream but kept hitting a wall of not getting additional finance and being told "I didn't have enough, it would be expensive,etc". Then I had my own "money" issues. So instead of focusing on the dream I started focusing on the money and not having enough. Guess what, I now don't have that money as I was constantly thinking lack of instead of increase.

I didn't understand how this could happen as I have enough knowledge and understanding of "finance" that it really should not have happened.

What was mind blowing for me in reading SOGR was realising that because I was focused on "decrease" that is what I got. What a WOW moment.

I know SOGR says to focus on the big idea and I am aiming to do this without all the old stuff coming up. So as practice and to build my confidence and abilities I am working on increasing small things like - having my own DVD Burner instead of using a friends, paying the bills easily and happily, having additional stock to sell. They have the same "money issues" around them and are I feel they are very good practice until I have my CMI of the ultimate dream again without all the other stuff tagged on.

I am looking forward to this journey and sharing it with others in the hope they can increase their knowledge and understanding through my successes.

That is fabulous Shannon it is amazing how the universe supplies something when you put no conditions on it. Obviously Steve's perceptions are expanding as well the more yours expand, may all things in your life keep increasing.

Love it. Keep posting them. Great story. Same thing happened to me when my wife insisted that we purchase first class tickets that I had CMI'd earlier that day.

One quick aha! moment for me. Wally says there's no need to brag or boast. Truthfully, I've always struggled with tooting my own horn about my business especially. I've learned now that I can trust formless substance and just feel the increase. No overstatements, no puffed up chest.

It's actually quite freeing. And I've begun noticing people in my circle of influence assume that I could afford certain things and trips because of this.

It works. So now I let people cut in front of me in line for stuff. It's classy, polite and feels wonderful. Try it.

I felt a bit stressed yesterday as I had a job interview, I kept reminding myself that I just had to give the impression of increase and not worry about getting the job or not. By the time I got home I was quite mentally exhausted and still feeling a little stressed so I got out in the garden and started doing all those jobs I had been putting off like turning the compost, pruning and fertilising the garden and cutting up recycling to fit into the bin when a woman that I didn't know walked past me with her dog and said hello to me in such a friendly tone it just completely banished all the stress and worry out of me! I truely got the impression of increase from this strangers one kind word to me. It shows how easy it is doesn't it?

Well what an interesting week it has been for me and fun, not always what I anticipated.

Picked up some totally unexpected work for a day. Then in delivering some things to a client I needed fuel and nearly fainted at the price, so drove on to my destination, checking prices as I went. Changed my attitude to paying that amount and kept thinking properous thoughts while driving. Right next to my delivery point was a fuel station selling fuel @ 7cents a litre less than everyone else. My gratitude was enormous for this bonus.

Then for a class I was holding on the weekend I wanted 2-3 more people kept holding increase and properous thoughts during the week. The additional 2 people materialized 3 days before I was to start the course. Then one of my orginal people couldn't make the 1st lesson and I was going to organise a private session so she was a the same stage as the rest of the class. We played phone tag for 3 days which was becoming frustrating. Went back to positive increase, gratitude thoughts.

What is truly amazing is how things have worked out. You see, I ended up not holding the course as the additional people got called into work and couldn't make it and a 2nd orginal person did not show up as she hadn't received my confirmation email. So only one person turned up. I could have looked at this in a negetive way but choose not to, I will just start the course next weekend and there is no need to do a private session with one person. It also saves my voice which I had lost the day before class and got back the day of class and I need my voice in top form for a part time job interview I am going to tomorrow.

This part time job also materialized out of nowhere and it fits the criteria I was looking for. It is fabulous how things have worked out and my joy and thankfulness is immense.

Other small and wonderous things have happened during the week, I won't go into to them this post is long enough.

Life is wonderful, enormous and generous.

Thanks for your message and I will follow up your thread tonight.

I am sorry if I gave the wrong impression about what I teach. I am a positive reinforcement dog trainer. My classes are out in the open and it can put a strain on the throat & voice. I had a job interview today and one of the requirements was a clear pleasant and distinct voice. So as you can see I needed my voice in peak condition not all scratchy and hoarse.

Once again things are not going as I expected yet at the same time it is wonderful.

The job interview for today was cancelled as the interviewer had the flu. I was amazingly fine with that and decided there was a good reason for this to happen.

There was! Today so far I had 3 phone calls regarding dog training and one of them wants me to come around and see them this afternoon. Could not have done it if I was at an afternoon job interview. How great is that!!! Yippee, do a little dance while saying thank you.

What a fabulous day since posting this morning I have had an additional 3 phone calls about dog training.

Lucky I love to dance, as today I had a couple more inquiries regarding dog training. This is fabulous as I have done no advertising in papers or other sorts of promo. I now have the numbers to hold another class.

All this has come about by changing my thoughts about my courses. I am the most expensive on the coast and have always told myself that I have good reason to be. What I realised was that even though that is what I said I there was a part of me that said "your ARE the MOST EXPENSIVE" in a very negative way.

The thought change was simply looking at the VALUE I was giving people and was it more than what they paid me in cash. I realised it was, I truly believe what I teach expands peoples knowledge and understanding of dogs and it will be with them their whole life. For people to get this same learning and understanding they would have to spent massive amounts of money and time on books, seminars and workshops to get one golden gem out of each one.

So I started thinking about all those gems and how I put them in one course. About how much I am increasing peoples knowledge and happiness and the dog happiness and well being. Doing this puts a whole different twist to things and the universe is showing me I am on the right track.

Go universe go - and I will happily delightfully take it all.

Oh I am having a wonderful learning at the moment.

I am dancing for joy this time because I have realized WHAT I HAVE DONE :. All those wonderful calls and additional people in class were disappearing.

All due to ME falling back on the "oh I have this bill and that bill to pay and how am I going to do it" without even realising initially. I am back on track with increase, increase, increase in all things gratitude, love and the things that bring money, as well as developing my CMI more.

Another WOW moment though at how quickly your thoughts can change the momentum. So I am going to get that momentum back.

Yeeeaaahhh, it's reversing, today I just kept myself on track with the CMI and increase.

I went for a part-time job interview yesterday and I got it.

Then I got a call from a person who wanted to join a group class. Fills the spot that became empty. Thank you Universe!
