Hi all

Let me share with you all that today was my best day ever on being grateful.

Whenever I'm in my car I always listen to the SOGR cd's. For some reason today the cd's were not working. So I thought to myself what am I going to do as I have a 40 minute drive ahead and back home. The radio was not even on the agenda. So I decided to be grateful. It felt so good being grateful for all the things I have in my life. Up til now I thought I was grateful but now until today's experienced - it's the best feeling ever.

To add to that, I had half an hour to spare and I really needed a new dress for tomorrow night and didn't have the surplus of funds (for the moment). I focus that I am going to buy the nicest dress for no more than $40 and be done in half an hour ! Well you can guess what happened. I went to an outlet store, found a really nice dress for $39 (asked for it to reduced and the lady did for $35), bumped into some friends all this done in just under half an hour. Now that's power!

Just wanted to share this with you all
It's such a great feeling being grateful and acting in that certain way...

Love to you all
Sonia

I started doing this recently too. I love listening to local radio on the way home from work and have a bit of a disco in my car Big Grin But they put on news reports every hour. One night I decided I didn't want to listen because even though they're only on for about two minutes before it switches back to the music, they were just so depressing. I switched it off and started to thank God for everything in my life now and the wonderful life ahead of me. By the time I had reached home, I couldn't stop smiling and felt sooo happy. Big Grin I do this every night now. The news update is my cue to switch off and start giving thanks. I don't even notice the traffic jams and I'm so happy and smiley by the time I reach home. Smile

Angel hugs x

Sonia, anyone who can manifest that kind of dress for that kind of money is doing very well!

I must add my dress story (sorry, chaps!)

At Christmas we were going to a dinner dance and I really REALLY wanted to wear a red, sparkly dress. I'd been joking about this with a friend and she and I have a 'thing' about feather boas. Well, there's a very up market second hand shop near me which can be brilliant for evening wear. I'd imagined something very glam, preferably with feather boa. And I found - a beautiful deep turquoise evening dress, unworn, for about £60 - with matching feather boa (also never worn) for £5. I thought that was pretty good, so I bought it.

On the day before the dance, I set off for the post office. As I passed the dress shop, I just 'happened' to glance that way. There in the window was the most beautiful red sparkly dress. The car was immediately caught in a tractor beam (all women reading this will understand). There was even a parking place right outside the shop - which is unheard of. I reached the shop, went it and .... the dress was my size, a serious - very serious - designer lable. And it fitted perfectly. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, especially as there were matching shoes (well, what was a girl to do?). So, next morning I open the post - I had won nearly enough to cover the cost of the dress in a government bond thingy. And the dress had also never been worn - the labels were still in it.

How's that?

I now have a clear mental image of a whole wardrobe full of such dresses - all bought new and all belonging to me Big Grin

Wishing more to all and less to none
