Hi All,
Over the past 3 weeks on 3 separate ocassions I have left the store only to find out when I got home that the cashier neglected to ring up one item. The items have been between $10 and $20 nothing big. The first two times I have taken the item back to the store to pay for it. Now that this has happened again I'm wondering if this is one of the ways the Universe is giving to me. I have been tithing for the past 3 months on a consistant basis. And I have been giving away items that I no longer use but knows someone who could. What do you guys think? Should I take this item back and pay or should I just say ... Thank you and move on? Thanks - Peace, Love and Blessings to All! |

Wittweb,
Say thank you and move on. In this manner you are demonstrating to the Universe that you are not only willing to give, but also to receive. Yesterday I found $11.00 lying on the floor of the busiest isle, of the busiest store in town, and on the busiest day.(no one was in the immediate area) I knew right away that it was meant as a gift just for me. (I really needed it-long story). I could have cried, but thanked God instead over & over & over........ Have a prosperous day! as part of the One |

WitWebb,
With sincere respect for Peggy's opinion, I disagree with her. I think you should take the item back and pay for it... Here's why: Note from Peggy's message that she said she "really needed it.." I think that is the key to your question. Gifts will cme to you when you "really need it". You put the item in your basket with the intention of trading value for it because you have (I assume) the value to trade. I would return the item keeping in mind that a person's character is made moment by moment every day. Peace. bronwen |

Hi Wittweb,
My opinion is you should give back what is not given to you freely. Put yourself in the store person shoes. I'm sure there is a loss somewhere here by someone. There is another consequence - law of cause and effect which I want to relate a story of what happened to my sister in law. We had finished and paid our meals in a restaurant and the waiter gave her back some change in coins , more than what she should be getting back and she knew that. It told her that it may not be a wise thing to keep the monies that was overpaid to her and she should give it back to the resataurant. And it was only 20 cents.....and told her about the fair exchange she should follow.... no, she did not take my advice. The next day, she told me that a policeman had stop her car and demanded $20.00 for apparently breaking some traffic rules and she had to part with the $20.00 If you think about it carefully, it seems like the law of cause and effect is a at work here.....and with a penalty of 100 times !! Well, I'll leave it to you to make your decision but I do believe that there is a law of the universe at work here..... Cheers Soon Ee |

Hi All,
I have taken everyone's opinion under advisement. Thanks to everyone, including the not so popular opinions. However, I have decided to take the item back and pay for it. The first reason is it feels good to be honest and trustworthy. Something I must admit has at times been a challenge. The second reason is that I have the money to pay for it! Which is a blessing right there. This was something that I "wanted" - not needed. I want the Universe/God to continue to bless me so that I can afford to buy the things that I "want" and "need". Now, I believe that this possibly could be a test from my higher self. Could I be showing myself that I can be trusted? And by showing myself that I can be trusted could one of the rewards be that others will see that I can be trusted as well? All thoughts are welcomed..... By the way ... W.I.T.T. (we're in this together) Thanks again... [This message was edited by wittwebb on July 28, 2003 at 05:27 AM.] |

Hello again everybody!
You are not going to believe this (or maybe you will) but I took the item back to the store and paid for it. Then I went home after a long day and looked at my mail, I had five checks for over $4,000 total. Granted, I was expecting two of them but I really didn't know when they would be coming in. It's amazing that they all came in on the same day. Wow! This stuff really does work! Wow! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Witt |

Hi I am so glad you decided to take the items back to the store. It gives me so much hope that we still have honesty, integrity
left in our world. Character is to do the right thing when no one is watching, and you apparently have decided to the right
thing.
Please keep giving your ten- percent you will never run out of blessings from our heavenly father. Remember this is his promise and he is not a man that he should lie. Many blessings to you and yours |
