a great example of SOGR in practice

OK, this is great! I had a contract out with one of my realtors and was waiting for it to get signed. I was up against two other companies for in-house lender and was supposed to find out last Tuesday afternoon. Which went into Wednesday. And I found out Thursday that I got it! It's the largest realtor in our region and THEY CHOSE ME!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!! It's a huge benefit for our company, our region and for me!

AND DO YOU KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED?????????

Because I used what I learned in SOGR. Every single day I wrote down what I was grateful for. Every single day I focused on my CMI ~ in writing. I had changed the CMI to focus on this specific contract and now I am enlarging again. Every single day I released the outcome and lived the feeling of it happening by going over in my head the phone calls that I would make letting everyone know. I stayed in touch with the client via email and didn't push. I knew that my highest good was being served and that I didn't need to get in the middle. And oddly enough, the thing that impressed them the most was my persistence over the last month where I came to their office once a week. When I went to the office I just assumed that the contract was mine. I acted in that certain way. It made the difference.

It works, it works, it works. Now on to being a top producer and a wonderfully huge pipeline! The focus shifts, grows and continues.

Thank you, Rebecca, for the tools. I'm moving forward and my momentum is building steam. I know that my successes are building and my CMI is reflecting that.

In general do you find it better then, to focus on one CMI at a time?

Although I have a general CMI that I was using when this opportunity came up I found my self focusing on the specifics of the opportunity that was in front of me until I obtained it. For me it was helpful to focus specifically on the contract and give it my full focus and appreciation and then to go back to the more all-encompassing one. The opportunity was created by the main CMI and I wanted to secure that one and then go back to the main one so more opportunities can come up!
