That is so great Annie. I really love your happy fish. I have been working on newsletters. My Dr requested a whole bunch more business cards to give his clients and after several weeks of him giving them out, one finally called today and made an appointment. I believe he is key in getting me more and more people walking in the door that I can work with face to face. I love the phone and Skype work, but face to face is really wonderful. Today there were rain clouds all around and the thought that came to me was, "it's about to rain down money!" So, I'll he thinking about that happiness. I can seriously see you as a Purveyor of Happiness. Big Grin

Will I never have a paying job? LOL.

Awesome news about the doctor's office. I love when MDs work with alternative healers. Health is such a whole life sort of thing. The miracles of modern medicine are just technology. What are they without the life force behind it all?

Anyhow, my cute little card is helping with my transition to the new management. I figure since this job isn't very lucrative or challenging, that I must be ready for a transition. As usual, I have no idea to what. But I have a purpose in the mean time. I get to purvey happiness. Its better than no purpose at all. That kinda sucks.

Just when I wanted to be perceived as a calm cool professional Vulcan, I get to be a cute little fish. It just keeps working out that way.

Out of the Blue and So Can You

Its the name of the web site or the book that goes with the Purveyor of Happiness businesss card? Maybe? It feels like a theme to me.

Still don't know what it means. But it is nagging me.

Annie,

Really run with this and have more fun with it than you think you can handle and then have some more. You will be amazed at what comes up! Try it, you'll like it! Smile Play, play, play! Wink

I'm ok with waiting for the purpose of these thoughts to be revealed to me, but I may try to set up a website just for fun. I don't know how at the moment. But I can gather my favorite links on introversion and all my favorite stuff on the A-H scale of emotions that helped pull me out of over a decade of post forever partum depression. Gotta figure out how to get permission to use stuff like this.

And I have to remember how to strat writing complete sentences again. I am so used to the conversational nature of text and forums. Sometimes I leave important parts of sentences out. And I can't see worth anything anymore either so I often don't even notice my typos.

See now it starting to feel like work. yuk

Try looking at it like you’re working on a piece of art, or doing something artistic or beautiful.

When I do that, it can be something as seemingly mundane as washing the dishes, and I even sometimes get a sense of rapture or eternity with it. It’s like Einstein said, everything is a miracle.

That's because you are thinking. Just start. And after 5 years of doing my own websites, can I say go with wordpress? Anytime I thought of all I had to do on that website, yuk! Just like you say. So, I would just do what I could do that day. And that is what I have been doing ever since. I get on for a few minutes several times a week and either post, write a newsletter, change something, find a new tool, etc. And now....I love my website. Just do one thing at a time Annie and pretty soon it will all come together.

Hi Annie: I love your blog, and I know somebody who can benefit from it.
Keep the same line mostly because is different, simple, directed to "realistic" people and no quotes.

Lots of love

OMG, was that fast! It looks great! I'm impressed with your website, but I'm more impressed with your "let's give it a try" and "go for it" attitude. Wonderful website!

Annie you truly are an inspiration to me! Smile

Love,
LauraK

I will gratefulyl receive your encouragement. But I really don't know what next. I just had a couple of hours before work and now I have been busy ever since and I can't even remember what I wrote or how to get there. Old age. I do remember I wanted to change the font. I want it bigger.

I am sure something will come to me when it comes to meSmile

Eh...I am not impressed with it and have no vision or enthusiasm to continue, but I'll let it sit until something else pops into my head. At least I learned how to do something new.

And that is the problem with not being able to follow or recognise your own intuition. I can't tell inspired action. Lots of ideas pop into your head every minute of every day, but none of them ever produces a sense of purpose or passion.

And at least you gave yourself the acknowledgement that you did learn something new. It may have been easy for you, but it was still an accomplishment. It seems to me that you are very hard on yourself sometimes. Perfection isn't the goal, it's the journey that's the fun part.

Good idea to sit with it...you never know what this might be leading up to...or maybe you do but just haven't recognized it yet. Big Grin

Sometimes I think that those ideas are where the sparks of fire for your new part of life begin. Those ideas that are seemingly random.

You think and think them and try to organize them in your head so that they make sense. but they already do make sense. Just sometimes not in the order you think they are supposed to be making sense.

All ideas work at some level in some way in your life. Even if the only thing they tell you is that your mind is alive and giving off great vibrations.

All this is my own opinion, for sure, I have just found that when I let my thoughts show up and let them connect themselves together instead of me trying to make them fit a particular pattern that I often get more ideas.

And sometimes those other ideas that show up, turn out to be the exact thought I was looking for. And I needed all the in between thoughts and ideas to get there.
