I'm new to this. I've read the book several times. I'm trying to find a business I could get into so I can reach my financial
goals. Any suggestions on where is the best place to start would be great.

Hi Jetro, congrats on reading the book and joining the forums.
As for finding a business to get into, while I have no suggestions for you on that, my question to you, what would you really love to do? That really is the heart and soul of the science of getting rich. Its about creating the life you want to live, not finding some job just to make money in. Because the money will come if you are focused and put your faith into doing what it is you love to do. What are your financial goals? What do you want to have and own? Think about that and how having those things feels. If it feels great than your on the right track. If your unsure and confused and frustrated than that isn't living in the certain way. So before you try to figure out what kind of business to get into, find out what you love doing and want to do and to have. You are the only one that can answer that question. Remember Wally says you can get rich in any profession or business but you'll get rich most satisfactorily if you're doing what you love to do! Best wishes, Shannon Live as if you have faith and faith will be given to you. |

Agreed. Truly agreed to it. Follow your heart and the money will come! That is a simple rule to follow. Just to help you "think" what you like, below are just some pointers you may like to use.
Of course the list goes on. These few points I have written down is to help you in identifying the things that interests and motivates you. Good luck in finding the business that's right for you. Zach Kong |

First, Jetro, do you really WANT a business? Or do you just think you have to have one to "reach [your] financial goals?" Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |

Hi Jetro.
Finding my purpose is something that prompted me to start a thread in this forum called "The How of Certain Career Change".... You might find some of the postings in response to this question helpful and along the lines of the "purpose" question you have. I had many wonderful and profound replies that steered me through a critical stage in beginning the course and opening up possibility and opportunity thinking / moving out of scarcity into abundance. Keep on doing what you are doing, do what Mr Wattles says, in your present place. Your personal growth in the certain way will cause many opportunities to be attracted to you and your awareness will grow to be able to "see" opportunities when the pop up. This is how it is beginning to happen for me. What makes me happy, is really the crux of it, for me. Not what other say should make me happy but what gets me passionate and makes me feel "alive". Reading the book slowly, reflecting, giving it time. I found the advice in the back by Rob McCarter on how to read the book very good. I will get the audios soon. I find audios get absorbed by my subconscious and especially good to listen whilst falling asleep. That is when the subconscious is the most receptive i think. Easy does it but do it my friend. David. B. xtremely blessed, David |

Do what you love and live in the certain way and the money will follow.
When you find what lights the fire in your belly then the right business will show up. But then again you can choose any business and still follow sogr and still get rich. Appreciation from the Heart, Richard De Haven |

This is IT! This is exactly it! Up until now lol..I have been standing still in my present place for a LONG time and have had the thought that "this or that" business will make me rich. Now the question becomes: How do I live more of the life I want to live without a business? OR~~maybe better is: How do I live more of the life I want to live WITHOUT preconcieved notions of how that will happen? Up until now I have been floundering with new thoughts to try to get some forward motion going. Here is the thing! I am starting to wonder if I am not dreaming big enough. Feedback please from anyone on the following: I want luxury I want ease and flow of money so I can take my ###%%$ FOCUS off of it I want to get out of bed every morning and decide what I want to do that day WITHOUT the bills driving me in any directions I want my husband to live all the life he is capable of living WITHOUT the bills fueling his every move. Example of to small dreams (?) I want a pool...I want someone to hire to mow the lawn for my husband. I want to decorate my house Up until now struggle: If I were on my deathbed would these be the things I would examine and say OK!!! HUGE YESSSS!!!!! I GOT THE POOL!!! ????? ????? Nope! I want to move beyond the grind of the monotonous. The truth is I want to forget about the itty bitty sh***y little things surrounding me so I can get the hell ON With a larger dream that seems completely elusive to me while I'm focusing on paying the oil or car repairs. Its distracting me. Ok well this is a step in the right direction. I have given voice to PART of whats been cluttering up my head recently. Its movement...in any direction is good right now. Any thoughts? xoxoxoxo |

Hello Jetro
Rebecca's point is great, do you really want a business? I have found it very helpful to let go of the 'how. Perhaps discover what it is you really desire and totally focus on that. The how will take care of itself. This is something that was told to me when I first started and proved to be very helpful. It also took a lot of pressure off because I just continually concentrated on my desire, and didnt stress over how I was going to achieve it. Thank you for this post Natalie www.natstephan.ws |

Interestingly, I just noticed the subject line you gave this post, Jetro: Finding my purpose. But then the actual post is
about a business and financial goals.
Your purpose isn't something you have to "find." Your purpose is just to be who you are, to live with joy, in abundance. Businesses come and go. Purpose doesn't. If having a business is a way of expressing and experiencing joy, go for it! Love & blessings, and, of course-- EXPECT Success! Rebecca |
