I have known about LOA for about a year and for SOGR for about two months, since about the time the company where I’d worked had terminated my job. Ever since then, wonderful things are happening to me:

1.) Severance, offered to me by my ex - employer, has been higher than legally required for some 60%. Additionally to that, big chunk of it is not taxed at all - a fact, that became known to me much later.

2.) From mid-May I am staying at home. However, we managed, beginning in September, getting about 40% of the salary I had before.

3.) Now for the icing on the cake: So far I have not had my own car, due to the fact, that I have always driven company cars. As you can imagine, buying a new car is a big financial undertaking. First I succeeded in negotiating a price of completely new car, worth almost 30,000 € for less than 22,000 €. When I was about to apply for credit, a close relative offered to me to give me the money for the car. You can imagine my joy! Although that relative spoke of the money as a gift, we agreed, after I insisted, that it is an interest-free loan, which I will begin to pay off when I get a new job. I had the car registered to my name today!

The ad for the job, which I liked most, announced that interviews are scheduled for September ...

Thank you, Universe! I will keep projecting!

Anatone,

no, I did not get get my new car for free.

I got the car for substantially lower price. I received the money to pay for it by a very close relative, under very favorable conditions. Originally, money for the purchase was offered to me as a gift, but I insisted and agreed with my relative for it to be an interest free loan, which I will start to pay off as soon as I get a job.

I hope this clarifies my original post.

Best regards.

Anatone, suppose the car had been free. How would you define the difference between "charity" and "gift?"

(I personally don't see SOGR as a "law.")

Anatone,

Since Wally knew that he couldn't explain things personally to everyone who read his book, I think he tried to avoid the most obvious ways that people could misconstrue what he was saying.

His course is designed to teach people how to take responsibility for their own lives and to manifest riches in the Certain Way. I think the line about charity and stealing is there to prevent lazy or dishonest people from using his book as an excuse to behave in a way that is contrary to the Certain Way.

Those who have been doing this awhile often receive things for free or discounted just because the universe moves in ways that benefit them. Accepting these things is not contrary to SOGR if you are following the Certain Way.

Remember that our job is to ask, be grateful, and receive. It is not to dictate how things come to us.

Love and blessings,
Rachel
